Mazel Tov Ketubah
Customized and personalized handmade Ketubot
Your Ketubah is probably the first piece of art which you will select—and design—together as a couple.

Customized and personalized to you as individuals and couple, your Ketubah relates to what is important to you. You may choose to symbolize the Jewish rituals and holidays or the significance of the day of your wedding—for instance its proximity to a holiday or the month in which it occurs. You may want to depict places that have special meaning for you, or a design which symbolizes your feelings for each other and the new unit you are becoming. It can show the nature that is typical of the season of your wedding. The possibilities are endless. For me, the joy is working with you and helping you to discover the theme that is meaningful, showing you sketches of your idea and then realizing it in paper, paint and ink.

Each Ketubah I create is custom, hand-painted with archival watercolors and hand-lettered with traditional inks on special archival hand-made cotton paper. No two Ketubah designs are the same. I work with your rabbi to make sure the names, dates and places are correct.

As an artist, watercolorist and calligrapher, I see myself in a progression of Ketubah artists, who since the 15th Century, add simcha and sasson to your marriage ceremony. The Ketubot I make are unique and special. Your Ketubah tells your story. You will never see another one just like yours.
